  • Yes. We have gone through all the proper channels to ensure that throwing axes is a totally legal and safe pastime.

  • We have taken all steps to create a safe and fun environment for our guests. We have self contained lanes in all our venues, therefore eradicating the risk of wayward axes from adjacent lanes. We are also a Dry Venue to again limit risk.

  • Sure, just not alcohol. We offer non alcoholic beverages and snacks. Unfortunately  we don’t have a liquor licence and also believe that booze is not needed for fun. We view ourselves as the activity you do before it gets messy. Why not have a memorable experience before the night turns into a blur?

  • We reserve the right to turn away any guests we suspect to be intoxicated. if we think that you’ve smuggled booze into you group we will eject you without refund.

  • Absolutely, as long as you are:
    – Are +18
    – Have not consumed drugs or alcohol prior to your session.
    – Wearing enclosed toed shoes.

  • Not at all, Axe-Throwing is not about strength or power, it is about technique.

    ​You will receive training from our experienced instructors who will take you step by step through the techniques required for each axe.
    We will show you how to throw so that the Axe does most of the work for you.

    Most axes are about 1-2 kg, if you can swing it you can throw it!​

  • Across all of our platforms and league nights, roughly 48% of all Axe-Throwers at Lumber Punks are WOMEN.

    Internationally, the Sport of Axe-Throwing proudly has 40-60% split of Women to Men participants.

    Yep, that’s awesome.

  • Book a session, fill out the online waiver, send the link to your friends that you have invited.

    Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the start of your session to ensure that all members of your group have signed their online waiver and payment has been processed. This helps to start your session on times, giving you a full session.

  • House Policy is that every thrower has to sign a waiver.

    NO WAIVER = NO AXE-THROWING
